Jesper Olsen
Jesper Olsen, born Faxe, Denmark, March 20, 1961. Jesper Olsen started his playing days at Nastved Boldklub before he left for Eredivisie side Ajax of Amsterdam in the summer of 1981. Impressed by the free flowing flanker, Manchester United boss Ron Atkinson decided to buy him for a transfer fee of £350,000 at the beginning of the 1984-85 season.

Ray Wilkins
Raymond Colin Wilkins, born London, England, September 14, 1956. Ray “Butch” Wilkins started his career as an apprentice at Chelsea under Dave Sexton and was handed his First Division debut in a convincing 3–0 win against Norwich City at Stamford Bridge on the 26th of October 1973. He rapidly established himself as a regular first teamer and went on to become the club´s youngest ever captain when he replaced Ron Harris at the age of eighteen.

Gary Pallister
Gary Andrew Pallister, born Ramsgate, England, June 30, 1965. Gary Pallister was probably the greatest player to come out of Ramsgate since George Wright, who appeared for, among others, London clubs West Ham United and Leyton Orient. A central defender, Pallister enjoyed a fine career at Billingham Town, Middlesbrough, Manchester United, and Darlington, and also managed to gain 22 full caps for the country of his birth between 1988 and 1996.

Brought up in the very heart of Protestant East Belfast, David McCreery was steeped from an early age in a marinade of politics and religion. Francis Burns

Hailing from North Lanarkshire, Francis Burns joined Manchester United straight from school in 1965 and signed professional terms the following year.
