Chelsea 0 Manchester United 2, Stamford Bridge, English Premier League, February 17, 2020. Mid-table placed Manchester United managed to defeat high-fliers Chelsea 2-0 away with a goal each from frontman Anthony Martial and central defender Harry Maguire.
Manchester United returned to their winning ways in the Premier League after three top-flight fixtures without a victory. The West London club started the match the better of the two sides and the hosts had two good scoring opportunities within the first ten minutes of the game, but they failed to convert both of them. As the first period wore on at Stamford Bridge, Manchester United came a lot more into proceedings and the visiting team finally pushed themselves into the lead thanks to Anthony Martial whose efficient header from a brilliant Aaron Wan-Bissaka cross went past Chelsea and Argentina custodian Willy Caballero and into the back of the net on the stroke of half-time. Following the interval, Manchester United continued their clinical finishing in front of goal and doubled their advantage through Harry Maguire who headed home a corner-kick delivery by Bruno Hernandes six minutes past the hour mark.
