Dan­iel Noel Drink­wa­ter, born Man­chester, Eng­land, Mar­ch 5, 1990. Man­cuni­an Dan­ny Drink­wa­ter joi­ned The Man­chester Uni­ted Academy at the age of nine and he sig­ned a train­ee con­tract wi­th the club in Ju­ly 2006. In or­der to ac­quire some much need­ed fir­st te­am ex­per­i­ence, the mid­fielder was loaned out Hud­dersfield To­wn, Car­diff City, Wat­ford, and Barns­ley be­fore he ev­entually sig­ned a per­man­ent deal wi­th Lei­cester City in Jan­uary 2012.

Dan­ny Drink­wa­ter was a mem­ber of the Lei­cester City te­am which won the Pre­miership title in 2016 and went on to ac­cu­mu­late 193 Pre­mier Lea­gue ap­pear­ances for the King Power Sta­dium out­fit be­fore he joi­ned Ro­man Abramovich´s Chel­sea for a trans­fer fee es­tim­ated to be some­where in the re­gion of £35 mil­lion at the front end of the 2016-17 cam­paign. The mid­field play­maker was giv­en his fir­st Pre­miership start for the West Lon­doners by re­cently ap­poin­ted head coach An­tonio Conte in a 1–1 draw ag­ainst Liver­pool at An­field on the 25th of Nov­ember 2016, and he fou­nd the back of the net for the fir­st time for his new club in a 5–0 Pre­mier Lea­gue tri­umph ag­ainst Sto­ke City at Stam­ford Bridge on the 30th of the fol­low­ing month. An Eng­land in­ter­na­tion­al, Dan­ny Drink­wa­ter made his seni­or de­but for his na­tion in a 2-1 friendly de­feat ag­ainst Neth­er­lands at Wemb­ley Sta­dium on the 29th Mar­ch 2016.
