Man­chester Uni­ted suc­cumbed to a dev­ast­at­ing 3-0 de­feat at the hands of their bit­ter en­emies Liver­pool at The Theatre of Dreams on a dark af­ter­noon for the Old Traf­ford si­de. The Reds of Man­chester were one goal down at the ha­lf-time break, and ev­entually lost the ga­me by a score of 3-0. In the af­ter­math of the heavy ho­me loss ag­ainst Liver­pool, Da­vid Moyes told the mass me­dia that he felt his play­ers were harshly treated by the ref­er­ee. Da­vid Moyes: “It was a ga­me littered wi­th pen­alty kicks and de­cisions, some were right and some were wrong. It was a tough day for us. At ha­lf-time we were one nil down to a pen­alty kick, I did not think that there was much in it.
