Manchester United succumbed to a devastating 3-0 defeat at the hands of their bitter enemies Liverpool at The Theatre of Dreams on a dark afternoon for the Old Trafford side. The Reds of Manchester were one goal down at the half-time break, and eventually lost the game by a score of 3-0. In the aftermath of the heavy home loss against Liverpool, David Moyes told the mass media that he felt his players were harshly treated by the referee. David Moyes: “It was a game littered with penalty kicks and decisions, some were right and some were wrong. It was a tough day for us. At half-time we were one nil down to a penalty kick, I did not think that there was much in it.
