Dan­ny Wel­beck, Chris Small­ing, Fa­bio, Ad­nan Januzaj and Jesse Lin­gard all sco­red a goal each for Uni­ted, whi­le Lam Ka Wai and Al­ex Tayo Akande net­ted for the hosts.

Ac­cord­ing to Da­vid Moyes, the friendly mat­ches ag­ainst a Sing­ha All-Star El­even, The Aus­trali­an Lea­gue All-Stars, Yoko­hama F-Mari­nos, Cerezo Osa­ka, and Kit­chee dur­ing pre-sea­son tour of Far East Asia and Aus­tralia had all be­en ex­cel­lent workouts and he was quite con­fid­ent that his te­am would be among the Pre­mier Lea­gue title con­tenders even with­out new sign­ings. Da­vid Moyes: “This is a squad that fin­ished el­ev­en points clear at the top of the Pre­mier Lea­gue last sea­son so I am con­fid­ent in the squad. But even with­out ad­di­tions this squad will be tough op­pon­ents for any te­am, they will be look­ing at Man­chester Uni­ted.
