Manchester Utd 2 Fulham 2
Manchester United 2 Fulham 2, Old Trafford, English Premier League, February 9, 2014. Manchester United boss David Moyes was unhappy with his team’s lack of fighting spirit as they could only manage a 2-2 draw in the match against Fulham. United came from a goal down to take the lead before having to settle for a draw late on against the visitors.
According to increasingly frustrated manager David Moyes, Manchester United deserved to get back in the game and deserved to win it, but the home side gave away a diabolical second goal to The Cottagers as Aston Villa loanee Darren Bent found the back of the net during stoppage time. David Moyes: “Manchester United should have made it 3-1 and it was really disappointing that we did not do that. I do not know if we could have done an awful lot more. We completely dominated the game and should have won it comfortably.” Manchester United Team: David de Gea, Patrice Evra, Nemanja Vidic, Rafael da Silva, Chris Smalling, Michael Carrick, Darren Fletcher, Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney, Ashley Young, Robin van Persie. Substitutes: Rio Ferdinand, Antonio Valencia, Ryan Giggs, Adnan Januzaj, Shinji Kagawa, Javier Hernandez, Anders Lindegaard.
