Ac­cord­ing to in­creas­ingly frus­trated man­ager Da­vid Moyes, Man­chester Uni­ted de­served to get back in the ga­me and de­served to win it, but the ho­me si­de gave away a diabol­ic­al sec­ond goal to The Cot­tagers as As­ton Vil­la loanee Dar­ren Bent fou­nd the back of the net dur­ing stop­page time. Da­vid Moyes: “Man­chester Uni­ted should have made it 3-1 and it was really dis­ap­point­ing that we did not do that. I do not know if we could have done an aw­ful lot more.
