Jose Kleberson Profile
Jose Kleberson made his Premier League debut for Manchester United in a 1-0 win over newly promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford on the 27th of August 2003 and went on to win the FA Cup during his first season with the club. Unfortunately, Kleberson´s Manchester United career was hampered by injuries, and he only managed to make 20 Premier League appearances for The Reds while at Old Trafford. At the end of the 2004-05 season, it became quite clear to everyone that the injury prone South American was not part of Sir Alex Ferguson´s long term plans, and the central midfielder moved to Besiktas of Istanbul where he played in 45 Turkish Super League matches for The Black and Whites before he decided to join Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A side Flamengo on the 27th of September 2007. The Brazilian later appeared for Atletico Paranaense, Bahia, Philadelphia Union, Indy Eleven, and finally Fort Lauderdale Strikers. An international for Brazil, Kleberson notched up 32 senior appearances for his country after making his full debut in a 6-0 friendly victory over old rivals Bolivia at Estadio Serra Dourada on the 31st of January 2002.
