Edwin van der Sar played for Dutch Eredivisie outfit Ajax of Amsterdam, Italian Serie A side Juventus, and Premier League club Fulham before he joined forces with Manchester United in the summer of 2006. While at Old Trafford, he won the Premier League in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2011, the League Cup in 2006, and 2009, the Community Shield in 2007, 2008, and 2010, the Champions League in 2008, and the Club World Cup in 2008. Athletic and tall and blessed with amazingly quick reflexes, he also made a name for himself on the international soccer scene, amassing a total of 130 first class appearances for Holland.
