And wi­th just four­teen min­utes re­maining of the clash, Mar­tin O´Neill´s Lei­cester sco­red ag­ain as Muzz­et fed the ball out to for­mer Man­chester Uni­ted play­er Rob­bie Sal­vage who­se cross was met by ex­per­i­enced stri­ker To­ny Cot­tee who head­ed pa­st Den­mark in­ter­na­tion­al Pe­ter Schmei­chel to give The Foxes a sur­prise 2-0 lead. But three min­utes la­ter, Teddy Sher­ing­ham, who had re­placed Ga­ry Ne­ville in the 77th min­ute, fou­nd the tar­get for Man­chester Uni­ted and the hosts fi­nally had their equal­iser thanks to a well pla­ced Da­vid Beck­ham free-kick which flew pa­st sub­sti­tute goal­keeper Peg­guy Arph­ex­ad and in­to the bot­tom left cor­ner of the net in stop­page time.
