And four­teen min­utes in­to the sec­ond ha­lf of the tie, Ga­ry Pal­lister ad­ded a third as the cent­ral de­fender ham­mered a power­ful shot from just in­side the area pa­st Wrex­ham goal­keeper Ma­rk Mor­ris and in­to the net.
