As for Liverpool, The Anfielders now found themselves in eighteenth position in the Premiership table with a mere two points from five matches played. Sir Alex Ferguson: “Manchester United were very poor. Liverpool dominated the first half and we were lucky. In the second half we had better statistics in terms of possession, but we were playing against ten men so that was disappointing. It has been the same the last four years when we have come here, so we are pleased with the result, but not with the performance. I expect better of them.” Liverpool Team: Pepe Reina, Martin Kelly, Daniel Agger, Martin Skrtel, Glen Johnson, Joe Allen, Steven Gerrard, Jonjo Shelvey, Raheem Sterling, Fabio Borini, Luis Suarez.
