Jesse Lingard handed United the lead after 32 minutes of action before James Vardy equalised for The Foxes in the 52nd minute, only for Zlatan Ibrahimovic to register the winner with just seven minutes remaining on the watch of the match official.

Rising to the occasion, Zlatan Ibrahimovic netted what proved to be the winner as the Swedish striker headed home an excellent cross ball from Antonio Valencia to make the final scoreline 2-1 in favour of Manchester United seven minutes from time. While in Manchester, Ibrahimovic proceeded to score 17 Premier League goals in 33 appearances for United before the industrious marksman decided to make a move to Major League Soccer outfit LA Galaxy on the 23rd of March 2018.
