Af­ter the closely con­tested 2-1 Pre­mier Lea­gue loss to fel­low Pre­mier Lea­gue title chasers Chel­sea at Stam­ford Bridge in West Lon­don, Sir Al­ex Fer­guson had a re­al go at mat­ch of­fi­cial Mar­tin Atkin­son. Sir Al­ex Fer­guson: “You want a fair ref­er­ee, or a strong ref­er­ee, any­way, and we did not get that. When I saw who the ref­er­ee was I did fear it. I feared the worst. And he is go­ing to be ref­er­ee­ing every week.
