And wi­th three min­utes left of the clash, Mar­tial ad­ded a third goal for Man­chester Uni­ted whi­le Po­gba made it 4–0 to the ho­me si­de in the 90th min­ute. The Swans, mean­while, had played out an en­ter­tain­ing, but goal­less, draw wi­th South­ampton at St Mary´s Sta­dium. At Liberty Sta­dium, The Reds got them­selves ahead on 45 min­utes when a power­ful head­er from Po­gba was tipped on to the cross­bar by Swansea City shot stop­per Lukasz Fa­bi­anski and Ivory Coast in­ter­na­tion­al Eric Bailly was there to put the ball in­to the net from clo­se ran­ge. Then, wi­th six min­utes re­maining of nor­mal time, Mar­cus Rash­ford re­place­ment An­thony Mar­tial roun­ded off the scor­ing to make it 4-0 to the men in red shirts. Fol­low­ing the de­moli­tion of Swansea City, Man­chester Uni­ted were now top­ping the Pre­mier Lea­gue ta­ble on goal dif­fer­ence.
