Terry Cooke Profile
Birmingham born Terry Cooke kick-started his career at Manchester United, but the midfield player failed to secure a regular first team berth at Old Trafford and, in order to obtain some much needed playing experience, he was shipped out on loan to Sunderland, Birmingham City, Wrexham, and Manchester City respectively. Following his loan period with The Light Blues, Cooke signed a permanent contract with the Maine Road club at the back end of the 1998-99 campaign, but after only making a mere 20 Premier League appearances for the side he was dispatched to Grimsby Town for whom he played just 25 League Division One matches before he proceeded to play for Sheffield Wednesday, Colorado Rapids, North Queensland Fury, and then finally Gabala FK where he ended his playing career in 2011.
