The vis­it­ors con­tin­ued their at­tack­ing in­tens­ity and were re­war­ded as An­thony Mar­tial sco­red wi­th an ac­cur­ate low ef­fort af­ter 32 min­utes. In the sec­ond ha­lf, Troy Deeney net­ted from the pen­alty spot for The Hor­nets in the 77th min­ute af­ter Will Hug­hes re­place­ment Rob­erto Pereyra had be­en bro­ught down in­side the box by Mar­cos Rojo, whi­le Ab­doulaye Dou­coure hit a sec­ond goal for the Hert­ford­shire club on 84 min­utes be­fore Jesse Lin­gard sco­red the sixth goal of the even­ing four min­utes from full-time to se­cure a 4-2 away vic­tory for The Reds.
